MATT WEISTRA
Matt is the Director of Pushing Performance, Adelaide’s leading community-based gym, where he’s passionate about helping people build sustainable fitness routines that last.
With a background in semi-professional sport, including an international stint for soccer and high-level Australian Rules Football, Matt has a deep understanding of what it takes to push limits and achieve results. A firm believer in the power of discipline, he’s experienced firsthand how mindset and resilience coaching can create lasting change.
After working at Pushing Performance for 7 years, he took over as Director in 2023, growing the gym’s services to support a wide range of individuals.
His approach emphasises both physical and mental growth, offering everything from group training and athlete development to corporate wellness and community engagement. Matt’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment helps people from all backgrounds achieve their health and fitness goals.
